05:35 PM ET 12.06 | The Cleveland Browns were hoping to avoid a scenario where Alex Tanney or Caleb Hanie would have to lead the first-team offense out on the field against the New England Patriots and today they received some great news. For the second straight day, quarterback Jason Campbell was able to practice and he is expected to start in Week 14 after being medically cleared from his concussion.

Alex Tanney or Caleb Hanie would have been an unmitigated disaster.

At least....Jason Campbell gives them a punchers chance.

Agreed. Say what you want about Campbell, but he's a legit QB and considering the merry-go-round of coaches he's been around, a consummate professional.

Sure the Pats are going to win but its not going to be a walk in the park. The Browns are a QB away from being a playoff team and if Campbell can put together a good game they could upset the Pats. (I just hope that doesn't happen because they need a QB!)

The Pats are playing for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. There won't be any slip ups on Sunday, especially at home.

And he's never added to the drama or gotten arrested even.
