08:56 AM ET 12.07 | Kobe Bryant didn't just announce on his Facebook account Friday that he'd play when the Lakers host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday at Staples Center, officially ending an eight-month rehab of his torn left Achilles tendon. Bryant did so on a two-minute, eight-second video that captured all the excitement surrounding his return. The video starts with the title, "Seasons of Legend." It ends with Bryant's return date on Dec. 8, 2013. In between, the video shows wind, rain and snow battering Bryant's No. 24 jersey. His uniform eventually rips in half. Sunlight then appears.

Kobe is baaaaaaaaaaccccckkkkkkk!

Gugy will really love this! His god has return!

His famous quote "He is a Kobe closet fan. He thinks of him 24/7...smh".... Hehehe

I don't know what this excitement is about. Without Kobe Lakers are .500 team. With him they're a lottery team. At his age, diminished skill and championship ego, he'll do nothing but hurt an otherwise perfectly-assembled .500 team.

Can't Wait!!!! I've been on pins and needles all season....

Just think Kome comes back in as little as 8 months and it will take D-Rose another two years to get back....

QUOTE(#8):

lol....I think the mambas' stat line will more closely resemble Kyries from last night rather than prime mamba's 81line

But Irving is the BEST PG in the league....And MVP, a HOFer, All Star, the list goes on and on of his greatness.

QUOTE(#9):

we are all laker homers at heart.once you accept the word of the mamba- you'll understand:)

I am starting to feel this glow from within as soon as i started thinking of the words of the mamba....

BTW, how about those knicks with back-to-back wins....IF they dont watch it they will be in first place and the third seed in the east soon.

We are all Kobe fanatics according to the fanatics!

The fanatics are wetting their pants for this December 8 grand entrance of their god. Of course it has to be on his former #8th day of the month to return against a team where he ball hogged his way to 81...

QUOTE(#15):

lol....how frackin bad is the east ?As I was saying yesterday-when they are hitting their 3s they win.I didn't see the game yesterday- but I looked at the box score and in their 2 back to back wins they are shooting 50+% from 3.

Man it is horrible....a lot of people predicted the east would get bad bc not many "star" players want to play in the north east unless its with the Knicks...
