08:28 AM ET 12.08 | Whereas coach Joe Philbin is expected back in 2014, general manager Jeff Ireland's status will remain very much in question until after the season. If Ireland isn't retained --- and nothing has been decided --- team performance would more likely doom him than BullyGate. That's why the final month of the season is more important for him than for Philbin. One prominent former Dolphins player who is used by the team to visit fans in Sun Life Stadium suites during games bemoaned how fans turn those visits into Ireland-bashing.

McCartney says we should give him back to the Irish.

If he got hired by the Bills would he be known as Northern Ireland?

Don't come back to Dallas.

Actually he would just be Ulster Province.

Very expendable.

Why are they targeting just one ? Seems to me they have a lot of suspects they could live without.

I think a lot of futures in Miami are about to become pasts.

Bad signings should doom him, not poor team performance. They are quite good. Tannehill looks especially good. With a stronger O-line they would be top of the division right now.

Not sure he deserves a firing.

He's perfect for Miami, dumb and not talented, but a willing participant!
