05:59 PM ET 12.09 | NBA All-Star Weekend brings us some of the best all-star festivities in all of professional sports, and it all ends with the All-Star Game that pits the top stars from the Eastern and Western Conference against each other. There is no doubt that Miami Heat star LeBron James will be one of the players receiving honors and playing in the game next year, but he may be playing at a different position. Instead of playing the three-spot like he generally does, there is some talk that James could be starting at center for the Eastern Conference in 2014.

Shut the front door. Roy Hibbert starts at center for the East in the all star game.

QUOTE(#3):

This would be good for Lebron. He has the size - if not the height - to play the position.Since he admires Magic Johnson, here's a chance for him to test his ability to play the center position - just as Magic did from time to time - especially in the Playoffs as a rookie.Lebron is probably the only *current* player in the NBA who can come close to playing all 5 positions. Magic Johnson was able to do it. Jordan and Pippen could play 3 or 4 of the positions.

He couldn't play the 4.

What there trying to say is Lebron may be forced to become the starting center for the east because they've changed the voting and 3 front court players are selected. The 3 most voted players will start the game. Most like Lebron Melo and George will be voted. Out of those 3 lebron is most suited to playing as a big man

I think they changed the format a few years back. Hibbert should start but I believe the top 3 frontline vote getters will start which means they could have 3 forwards starting.
