07:21 AM ET 12.10 | At one point, it seemed Jeff Ireland was a goner, set to be relieved of his duties by Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. Well, the Dolphins are 3-1 since that low point. Despite an NFL investigation that has been intrusive for coaches, personnel people and players -- which will continue to be if reports that more interviews are coming this week are true -- the Dolphins have rallied. ...The man Dolphins fans see as the most likely casualty from the NFL scandal and poor performances earlier this season, Ireland, also is getting a new life. According to an NFL source, he has received assurances from Ross that his job is safe. And based on what we are seeing lately, that would be the right way for Ross to proceed. Sunday, for example, that was Daniel Thomas rushing for 105 yards on a season-high 16 carries.

So the coach will be the scapegoat?

I guess the phins like being an also-ran.

Nice Tannehill impersonation by Ireland. He's even got the throwing motion down.

Didn't realize how big that win in Pittsburgh actually was...

December 10, 2013  10:29 AM ET

Of those 3 wins, none was against a team with a winning record. Why make a big deal when you win games you should win?

If something has to go - get rid of those uniforms. Stick to the tradition of the Dolphins original design. It wasn't broken in the first place.

Why not bring back Incognito? He ain't helping sitting home on the coach. Martin is toast, why toast two guys. Funny, he is guilty until proven innocent when accused by a black guy.

The old-timers contacted the team. They don't want the 17-0 uni's represented by the current roster.

They must, it has been that way for a long, long time.
