07:33 AM ET 12.13 | Brooklyn Nets small forward Paul Pierce has a new truth: the bench. [Pierce] will come off the bench again Thursday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. "We feel comfortable with the way things went last game, so we're gonna go back that way," Nets coach Jason Kidd said. Pierce will be coming off the bench in consecutive games for the first time in his career. It'll be just the fifth time he's not started in 1,119 games. Prior to coming off the bench Tuesday night, Pierce had not done so since Feb. 9, 2007, when he was with the Boston Celtics. It is unknown how long he will remain a reserve. "We're just focused on tonight's game, the Clippers, so that's all we're worried about right now," Kidd said. "We'll talk about if there's any changes somewhere down the road."

Don't Come To LA, Bro.

Will the nets turn it around? It really depends if DWill brings the same intensity every night. He won't get to play against his best friend, CP3, every game.

good win by nets......they blitzed us in the 2nd half......held CP3 to 2 assists.....

fire Doc Rivers!!!!

This is a good move. They have too many players on the court at one time that need the ball. Let Pierce and Terry anchor the second unit and run the offense through Williams, Lopez then Johnson.

Haha wrong thread man but I agree. Bargnani started out well now he is back to his normal self. As bad as you guys have been you are only 2.5 games back from the division leaders. I wouldn't sweat it man just try to make the playoffs

Both Knicks and the Nets will make the playoffs (which isn't saying much looking at the East)

First one R, reserve, then the second one, retirement.
