02:50 PM ET 12.14 | The Washington Redskins have certainly had their fair share of drama over the past few weeks, thanks to the uncertainty swirling around the future of head coach Mike Shanahan with the team. Many believe that Shanahan will be fired at the end of the season, but a new report seems to put those beliefs in jeopardy with the news that Redskins owner Daniel Snyder may be unwilling to pay the money he would owe Shanahan and his staff if he decides to fire him. If Snyder has his concerns about paying the buyout, the best move to make would be to wait the final three weeks of the season to see how Shanahan's decision to roll with Kirk Cousin plays out. The report states that Snyder truly believes Shanahan is making a coaching decision, so we will see how that decision works out as Cousins finishes off the year as the team's starting quarterback down the stretch.

Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper for solutions.

He could always keep him on, but change the role of the head coach. Would Shanny be willing to polish Mr. Snyder's shoes for those millions of dollars?

He could join the pom pon squad.

He could always just ask Shanny if he would be willing to leave and forego $7mil.

Well, to be bluntly honest....

Would you? Or me? Anyone?

We all would probably take the money.

Like Jerry Glanville said, NFL stands for Not For Long.

Soap Opera, Snyder is reaching for JJ's crown as most dysfunctional owner.

He gives Haynesworth 100 million dollars to basically fall down and have trouble getting up, but won't pay buyout money to get rid of people who don't know what they're doing. Sounds like he's right at home near DC.

Al Davis must be rolling in his grave.

He'll pay lawyers to see if he can terminate Shanny's contract with cause before he'll buy Shanny out.
