09:02 AM ET 12.15 | Derrick Rose has real concerns these days, but those have nothing to do with returning from his latest round of major knee surgery. Rather, his concerns center on his team's future makeup. Rose has told several confidantes that he is worried that the Bulls will start to let the team hit the skids by allowing key players to leave via free agency, forcing him to go through a rebuilding program that he wants no part of. "Derrick is worried that the Bulls are going to lose what they have," said a league source. "He doesn't want to go through rebuilding."

Sometime You Get The Horns, Bro.

Well, if someone had drank their milk growing up and could avoid getting injured rolling out of bed in the morning, maybe they wouldn't blow up his team. Rose needs to be concerned that they could decide to move forward without him. If I'm the bulls and I'm offered a top 5 pick for rose I take that deal with no hesitation.

We should they keep it together HOPING you might one day be healthy....Hello tracy Mcgrady...

December 15, 2013  09:38 AM ET

and to think, some people were tying to say that Kyrie was more injury prone than this guy....unreal

well, if the Bulls do decide to rebuild, Luol Deng will be among the first moved. If they COULD get rid of Boozer at that point I am sure they would try as well.

I gotta think any team trading for Deng, if the Bulls hope to get anything substantial, would want some assurances he will re-sign. Otherwise he is just a rental and is value is seriously diminished. I wonder what kind of a contact Deng would be interested in....

at this point in Deng's career, i think a 3 year deal at 30-36 million would be as high as he could expect.

He's worried? The poor Bulls can't count on him being healthy at any given time. Maybe they should amnesty him and start rebuilding.

lol Well considering they could trade Deng and Boozer (both injury prone-still tough guys who don't miss playoff games) to the lakers in exchange for some draft picks (lakers would do it and we all know unless they get a top 4 free agent signing next year they'll be 7th/8th seed playoff team in west at best) that would likely be mid-to early round.
Rose is worth more as a Bull then trade bait unfortunately-meaning the more he plays healthy and in true form the better his value will be (all-professional comment: duh). Ofcourse if that ever happens we're back to the 'If you're the bulls do you trade D-rosencrant or stay with him knowing his injury history'.
Ah the wheel of misfortune for those unlucky few. It's about time Thibs told D-rose to shut up and sit down, he's 23 years old and if they want to add another 20-22 year-old up and comer with a better game IQ (Jabari Parker-possibly) in exchange for two poorly aging vets then he can sit there and rehab his next 2 knee surgeries while they do it. Then we'll see if he wants to be around.

deng has real good value- and should get an Iggy type deal IMO- they obviously don't want to pay him- so they are going to lose him for nothing if they just let him walk-sure tehy may get 60 cents on the dollar for him- but it'd be better than getting nothingI think boozer will also interest a few teams as he has only 1+ years left

Boozer to new York!!!

Rose has been in the League twice as long.

This is the same guy that was only worried about himself last year and now he is worried about the team going in a different direction? Now you want the Bulls to stay put because you are insecure? The guy is becoming a primadonna. I don't know if Bulls fans can defend this guy anymore.

Sorry Dude but he is not affecting my life. It's just fun congratulating him. It does make me smile a lot because there is an avatar bet for 1 full year.

Forgot about that. That should make the bulls fans mad even more. Management is only looking out for their franchise. W/ 2 broken knees now, the bulls have to plan ahead...

I was thinking the same thing. He seems to focused on himself rather than the team.

Yup and this kind of story is just making him more look bad. I guess this is what he is worried about. That's why he hasn't talked to anybody for weeks now. The guy is very insecure.
