07:40 AM ET 12.16 | Coming out of the weekend sets up a 'D' day, of sorts in college football -- and, again, two rivals are at its center. The nation's most heralded inside linebacker prospect in the 2014 class will announce his college decision on Monday and both Alabama and Auburn are in the running. Hinesville, Georgia star Raekwon McMillan will make his announcement at 11 a.m. Central time on Monday, choosing between Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Ohio State. The unanimous five-star prospect is rated by most recruiting services as the No. 1 inside linebacker prospect in the nation and his 6-foot-2, 245-pound frame makes him the rare distinction of being a high school linebacker with the physical prowess to play in immediately in college. McMillan hosted members of the coaching staffs of all four of his finalist schools on Sunday.

What Bama wants, Bama gets.

It's really down to Alabama and Ohio State. Anything other than that will be a head scratcher.

Almost like a HS DE thats to small to play DE in a 3-4 and too big to play LB, picking alabama?

December 16, 2013  09:27 AM ET

Will be a Gump...

Way to go richt, not even in the conversation, smh.

Amazing this kid is from Georgia and has no interest in any team in the State. Sounds like Georgia is losing its credability as a football powerhouse.

Who? Da'Shawn Hand? He was recruite to be an LB in the Jack position I believe which rushes the QB a lot. He is the perfect size for that.

The writing is on the wall for GTG's defense. If there isn't major improvement next year he's gone.

I was wondering about that. Any particular reason? The 'Dawgs seem to have a good track record with developing linebackers, so did he just not connect with the coaches?

Grand80 is just but-hurt that Hand chose Alabama over TSUN.

I heard he gave Georgia Southern a look after they beat da Gadduhs, but then decided it was no big deal, because it was just Florida. ;-)

He'd just get hurt, so best for him not to come to UF.
