07:46 AM ET 12.16 | Milan Lucic's return to his hometown didn't come without incident. A video has surfaced of [Lucic] apparently involved in a scuffle outside of a downtown Vancouver nightclub. In the video, which was reportedly filmed Saturday, Lucic and another man exchange words in front of Vancouver police, who had arrived on scene. "You know who you're [expletive] with [expletive]?" Lucic asks the other man. ... "He hit me three times," the power forward tells the officer on scene. No fighting can actually be seen in the video. Another man in the background pipes up, yelling "Milan Lucic is beyond good right now!" Other bystanders can be heard yelling Lucic's name. Lucic, who is from Vancouver, played in a 6-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks earlier Saturday night at Rogers Arena.

Vancouver still bitter. Shocked they didn't video themselves burning their city again.

Sounded like Lucic thought the Police Officer was a ref and he went crying to him just like he was in a game.

LOL.

Regardless, a player can't take the bait (and neither should you - you know it is just going to turn into immature name calling - just some advice). ;)

I will say I don't know the ins-outs, both sides of this story, but if a player/star/athelete is being harassed in a bar, etc., maybe he should just get in his over-priced car and get his butt home.

Why engage? It never turns out well.

Wise words, grasshopper.

Reminder: The glass houses/throwing stones moratorium applies when you talking about crying to refs and your favorite team features one Sydney Crosby.

Curious what Engelland gets for his cheap headshot when he has to go to the principals office this week. Should be 10 for that one.

Doubt it will be, so get over it.

I'm sure Abdelkator was in the wrong. Perhaps he got in the way when Engelland was stretching.

Won't be 10, 2 or 3 is the likely suspension

I didn't say that, did I? I just don't see it getting 10. If he does, fine.

He did get called to the office so it will likely be over 5.

True, but Shanny's last couple of suspensions have been 2 - 3, so hard to justify 5 +

WGAF.

Another beauty of a Monday story on these threads.

Noticed that Thornton isn't man enough to take his punishment, he's appealing. At least Neal admitted he was wrong and is taking his medicine.

Probably because Neal is da_ned thankful it was only 5 games. He should have got 10+ as well.
