07:28 AM ET 12.17 | He'll be back? Could Nerlens Noel make his debut for the Sixers this season? According to the rookie center, it's possible. Recovering from an ACL injury suffered last February at the University of Kentucky, Noel, 19, has not spoken to the Philadelphia media since the Oct. 1 media day. However, he told the NBA channel on Sirius/XM Radio that no decision has been made about whether he will or will not play this season. Asked whether he could make his NBA debut, Noel said, "There is a possibility." ... "We're just taking our time with it, being cautious with things," he said. "I'm definitely worried about my health, but in regards to the whole season, you know, that decision hasn't been made up. I still have to meet up with my doctors, Dr. (James) Andrews, Dr. Kevin Wilk, and come to a conclusion with that."

No chance he plays this year. The 76ers are tanking to get a high draft pick and you don't want to mess that up plus why not let the kid heal longer.

They're not gonna be better w/ him in the lineup so why not play him for experience. He looks like he is ready to play...

Don't end up being Oden, bro!

There is a chance he will get a few minutes at the end of the season but I doubt it. He is basically a medical redshirt and they are trying to improve other facets of his game. When you are as slender as he is you will have to learn to hit a 10ft shot. I believe his long term position will be PF

He will spend the season getting healthy and getting stronger. No sense in playing him.

He needs to sit the entire season......complete his physical rehab.....gain some strength and weight.....improve on basic basketball skills.....and come back next season.
