Texas A&M released [Sumlin's] full contract to SportsDay on Monday, and it confirms just how commited the school is to the second-year coach. The deal, announced first Nov. 30 when agreement was reached in principle, and in more detail Thursday after it was finalized, is for $5 million annually for six years. ... For his part, Sumlin has a $5 million buyout, up from $2 million, if he chooses to leave before the end of the 2016 season and bowl game, as has been reported, and it is due within 60 days of his resignation. But after the next three seasons are completed, no damages from Sumlin are included in the contract if he were to take another job in the college ranks or the NFL.
