Jerry Jones fears Sean Lee's season is over

07:11 PM ET 12.17 | The Dallas Cowboys defense has been playing poorly all season. So poor, in fact, that they are threatening to go down as one of the all-time worst defenses that we have ever seen. Now, there is even more cause for concern with the Cowboys defensive unit. Star linebacker Sean Lee has been unable to stay healthy this season and he suffered a sprained ligament in his neck in his first game back to the field last week. There was some hope that the injury would be minor and that Lee could return for the Cowboys down the stretch, but owner Jerry Jones is concerned that Lee's season may be over.

I'm surprised Jerry didn't use his Jedi mind powers to heal his injury.

In observing Lee, he needs much bigger shoulder pads to play LB. Otherwise, he'll have a short career.

most feel the cowboys season is over, too. lee is talented, but so injury prone. it's something with him every single year.... kinda like miles Austin. lee will be with dallas for yrs, playing 10 games/yr if we are lucky. Austin is likely playing his last in dallas.

Lee has got to be the skinniest linbacker the NFL has seen in a long time. Not sure what he weighs in reality but he looks like a stick man compared to other NFL players, especially for his position.

I say bring him back if he's able to go. There's a playoff spot on the line and Lee is one of the few Dallas defensive players capable of doing good things on the football field. (What the **** happened to DeMarcus Ware?)
