07:30 PM ET 12.17 | When you discuss the talent pool in the 2014 NFL Draft, one of the first names that comes up is Louisville Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Many believe that Bridgewater, who is a junior, is the most talented signal-caller in this year's draft class. However, he may not go pro. Bridgewater has been weighing his decision on whether or not to enter the draft and he is still undecided about his future. Bridgewater is currently preparing for his team's Dec. 28 bowl game, so he will still have plenty of time to weigh his options prior to the Jan. 15 deadline to declare. He hopes to make a decision within a few days after his final game of the season. If Bridgewater returns to Louisville, it would be a big hit to this year's quarterback class and it could encourage a player like UCF's Blake Bortles to declare and take advantage of the opportunity to be a high draft selection, but it would benefit no one more than Fresno State's Derek Carr.

Remember Matt Barkley.

The timing is right for him to declare. This kid could be the #1 pick in the draft.

Well, may as well. It's not like he's in school to get a degree.

The '15 draft is shaping up to be deep at starting QB's.

He may not be in school to get a degree but apparently he's smart enough not to go to the Jaguars. If Houston gets the #1 pick and expresses interest, he will be gone.

If Bridgewater stays in school and dashes the Texans "Get ready for Teddy" plans, signing Derek Carr wouldn't be so bad. Think of all the D. Carr (David) jerseys hanging at the back of the closet of Texans fans that will be put back to use.

David was drafted based on one great year of production as a senior, whereas Derek has put together three phenomenal seasons at Fresno State.
