Flacco going easy for a few days

07:21 AM ET 12.18 | After Monday night's win over the Lions that put even more intrigue into this coming week's matchup with the Patriots, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco said his knee feels strong. But that doesn't mean his knee is perfectly fine. Per a league source, Flacco plans to take it easy for a few days. It's unclear whether this means Flacco will skip practice or be limited in any of the practices preceding Sunday's game against the Patriots. Even if Flacco misses a little practice time, it could have been much worse. ACLs have popped with far less pressure applied to the lower leg. While it was unclear whether Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy deliberately went low on Flacco or was blocked to the ground, Levy struck Flacco in the leg with Levy's helmet.

Good thing it wasn't Suh who applied the hit. The media would call for his head.

Suh just like a big ole teddy bear.

My heart bleeds for him..... not

I never saw a clip which definitively showed what caused Levy to go to the ground, but based on what I did see, it didn't seem deliberate.

No touchdowns and his team still wins, go figure!

Is the league along with the refs fixing games in the NFL? It appears to be that way to a lot of us. The proof is in the pudding. Just watch the calls on tape. Love to see congress and the DOJ start looking into these calls and league.

Congress has a lot more inportant things to do such as passing a budget by 15 January. And I son't see the DOJ investigating NFL refs un;less there is some gambling ring involved.

Who knows. Just look which teams that are in the playoffs. The money teams that would bring in more money than the lesser teams.

Tell me how they got those better records. Not by their playing but a heck a lot of help from the league and refs watch the tapes.

And yet neither NY team is in. Dallas may very well not make it. Sound reasoning.
