07:26 AM ET 12.18 | New Orleans appears to be on the verge of getting a little bigger in the middle. [The Pelicans] are working out final details on a potential two-year contract offer to acquire 7-foot-2 French center Alexis Ajinca, league sources confirmed Tuesday afternoon. Ajinca is in the process of working out a buyout agreement with his current Euro League team, Strasbourg. Meanwhile, Pelicans officials declined comment about the situation on Tuesday afternoon. Ajin??a was the 20th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats, who eventually traded him to the Dallas Mavericks before the 2010-11 season. He played only a half season with the Mavericks before he was traded to the Toronto Raptors. The Pelicans are in desperate need of acquiring a center.

Well.....not really an 'apples to apples comparison.

Noah only lived for 10 years in France and played high school and college ball in the U.S.

Parker is a guard, who had the benefit of being mentored by an American father who played Division I college ball in the states.

It's crazy how GM's think they can plug in some lose part from overseas and expect good results. I wish it works out for both parties.. but this sounds like a Knick work...nothing good will come out of it..
