Miami notched an oral commitment from one of the nation's top 2009 football recruits and running backs from Wichita East High junior Bryce Brown. Considered the the nation's No. 1 running back in 2009 by Rivals.com, Brown is the younger brother of UM 2008 commitment and highly touted linebacker Arthur Brown. Bryce Brown (6-1, 212) told Rivals.com Thursday the timing felt right to make the commitment.

yea baby........the U is the place to be again.......the swagger will be back very soon!!

No brainer. Little bro wants to play with big bro. However, if it doesn't work out for Arthur this season, you can be assured that Bryce isn't going to be a Cane.

We all remember how Chris Leak was going to Tennessee before Fulmer jerked around his brother C.J.

Why does the little brother who's supposed to be intelligent and a good citizen follow his thug older brother? I thought he would go to a school like UCLA or Florida.

hey irish....florida has had alot more guys arrested then miami lately...

Irish: Come off that thug stuff. That's the U of old. Shannon is doing a great job of steering Miami away from that.

j hova- arthur brown isnt a quarterback. if he starts this year, he'll dominate. if he is red shirted, it wont affect bryce's decision. just because it happened with the leaks doesnt mean it will ever happen again
