Stars bolting 'Bama?

07:36 AM ET 12.19 | So far, the answers haven't changed, but the questions keep coming. Defensive end Jeoffrey Pagan and left tackle Cyrus Kouandjio were the latest third-year players to face a query about their future, and whether it involves another year at Alabama. Each lineman delivered a similar answer. "Honestly, I haven't really put much thought into it," Pagan said after Tuesday's practice. "At the end of the season, I'll sit down with coach and my family and make the best decision." And Kouandjio? "I mean, we have one game left," Kouandjio said. ... "After that, then I'll talk to some people, talk to my parents and see what everybody thinks." Kouandjio's future is fairly clear cut if he opts to go pro. Nearly everyone who produces mock drafts lists the athletic left tackle as a high first-round pick.

Yes, as the old song says, the stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas. Stars over Bama get the yearning to be seen in a similar setting.

Go Pro while your still healthy.......afterall if your a first rd. pick your set for life no matter what.

Coach Saint Saban has always said if they are projected 1st round, he will encourage them to go pro.

If they are projected as first round then they would be dumb not to go. The misleading part of the headline is the "Bolting" part. Everyone wishes they had that pipeline. There are probably two five stars sitting behind Cyrus who have been feeding at the Bama training table for last 2 yrs just waiting their shot.

LMAO. How many projected 1st rounders are going to stay anyway. He'd looked like Carroll begging Sanchez to stay.

Every team has players leaving early, just about. Not sure this is any big story.

December 19, 2013  09:12 AM ET

Although, there's a rumor Kouandjio might stay. His dad is a doctor or something in Maryland. I think the family has a little money.
