Cole Miller vows to never fight in Massachusetts again

04:03 PM ET 12.21 | UFC featherweight Cole Miller went 2-1 in 2013, with his only loss being to Manny Gamburyan in a controversial fight that took place at UFC Fight Night 26 in Boston, Mass. Miller was unhappy with the way the fight was decided, after an extended delay in between rounds despite his strikes to the head of Gamburyan being ruled legal. After the fight, Miller filed an appeal to the Massachusetts Athletic Commission that outlined eight rule violations, but his appeal was denied and the loss remained on his record. With a bad taste still in his mouth, Miller vows that he will never fight in Massachusetts again. Miller's loss was another example of poor judging in the sport, but now his focus must be on his next opponent, Sam Sicilia, at UFC Fight Night 35.
