09:39 AM ET 12.22 | Adrian Peterson returned to practice Friday after skipping Thursday's preparation to receive treatment on his injured foot, and he'll be back on the field Sunday after missing last week. The Minnesota Vikings star running back will be back in action for his team against the Cincinnati Bengals, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday on "NFL GameDay First. Vikings coach Leslie Frazier previously listed Peterson as questionable for Sunday's game.

Why not? He is getting paid big bucks to play and AP is chasing records and Frazier's only chance apparently to keep that job are with a really strong finish....so, all signs point to HC saying get out there now....

We will never know who call the shots on playing Ponder instead of Kessel, but reality is they are a much better football team with 16 in there and Frazier will probably be the fall guy for their lack luster season.

Well, I'll say this for the hot smelly mess that Frazier has led this year: They haven't quit, as the wins over Philly and Chicago attest to. I'd like to think they have a chance today but I don't see it.
