12:41 PM ET 12.22 | This season has not been kind to Columbus Blue Jackets right winger Marian Gaborik. After missing the Blue Jackets previous 17 games with a previous injury, Gaborik was set to return to the ice against the Philadelphia Flyers. Gaborik started off his return to the ice with an assist, but his night came to an early end after a hit from Flyers left winger Zac Rinaldo. As a result of the hit, Gaborik suffered a broken collarbone that will keep him out of action indefinitely. It is an obvious blow to the Blue Jackets moving forward and it could prove to be a big loss for Gaborik's bank account. The Slovenian is in a contract year, so the injuries beginning to pile up will not be a good look for him entering free agency.
