Griffin accuses Warriors of 'cowardly' basketball

07:23 AM ET 12.26 | On the one hand, Mark Jackson and Doc Rivers insist that the Warriors and Clippers don't yet have a rivalry. But the players clearly don't buy into their coaches' dialogue, and their meetings are sure starting to feel special. ... Clearly, these teams don't seem to like each other much, and that was reinforced once again at the end of the third quarter, when the Warriors' Draymond Green and Clippers' Blake Griffin had to be restrained from one another. ... The Clippers, to be blunt, thought the Warriors' strategy on Griffin was purposeful, one reason another skirmish broke out at the end of the game in front of the Warriors bench. "If you look at it, I didn't do anything and I got thrown out of the game," said Griffin, [who] scored 20 points. "It all boils down to (the referees) fell for it. To me it's cowardly basketball."

Bottom line......pretty poor officiating that led to Griffin being thrown out (given a second 'T'); particularly considering that they reviewed the play.......Laughable.

Went to bed...overdose of NBA yesterday. Used to be 1 or 2 quality games on. Now it's just a big marketing job with big market teams playing.

Except for OK

Griffin needs to learn to stop taking the bait. They new he had one tech already and set him up for another.

Grow up and have some discipline already.

Griffin is right on.

He and Bogut get tangled and Griffin get's ejected?
Technical fouls for what?
A flagrant really?
That was the most BS call I have ever seen.
Griffin needs to make it count however, if you're gonna be thrown out of a game at least knock the guy's lights out.
So these guys know never to mess with you.
Nobody ever gets tangled with Jordan, or CP3, or Barnes.....
Ask Lou Amundson what happened a few years ago when he got tangled with ZBO....
ZBO knocked him into next Thursday!
Certain guys you're not gonna attempt to get tangled up with, Blake needs to man up and make the ejection count!

Why the pacers weren't playing is beyond me.
Kobe didn't play, so why were the lakers shown?

Did you see the play they ejected him on? What bait did he take? Bogut grabbed his shirt by the neck collar and BG gets T'd up for that?

I'm ALL for him growing up, but that last night was horrible reffing........period

What a big baby....

You should follow the old school rules of hard fouls....

Just pay'em back..talking out is for FEMALES....

Blake had been getting picked on a lot. I like that he doesn't back down and that he doesn't do anything to retaliate. The game is bigger than an ejection. Blake has to be stronger mentally to not get into many skirmishes.

Since Blake is not wanted in LA, The nets are now willing to trade KG and and the rest if the players. Maybe somebody's wish will come true.

LMFAO, come on dude, Griffin is a big crybaby. Blake has given just as much as he has taken in the past. Watch some film of past Clipper games, Blake is not an angel by any means.

Good comment. Blake needs to grow up.
