07:53 AM ET 12.28 | Antrel Rolle didn't take his Pro Bowl snub quietly Friday night. Chosen as only a second alternate at strong safety despite leading the 6-9 Giants in interceptions and tackles this season, Rolle immediately went on Twitter and profanely blasted the selection process. "Tell me which safety has better numbers and made more game changing plays than me this year???? I'll wait!!!! This probowl sh-t is a joke," Rolle wrote shortly after the teams were announced.

hmm,........me-me-me,.........that's why yu dum a/zz/es are 6-9.....!

Typical, my numbers are better these other guys. Maybe some of the other guys played more as a team and not so concerned with their personal stats. Oh yeah, those are the guys in the playoffs.

**** up buttercup!

Honestly, he is right. Play wise, he deserves to be there. As far as a teams record and being all pro caliber at your position, there is no correlation. If you think so then AP never belonged in the pro bowl when his team had a losing record.

Game-changing plays? What is the Giants record again?

Something doesn't jive here???..

December 28, 2013  08:54 AM ET

Teams that win a lot of games get guys voted in who are not pro bowl talent. Teams that lose a lot of games have guys passed over who do deserve to be in. always been that way. Meaningless game regardless and should just be done away with.

Antrel will probably be RolleD out of NY next year, as a Salary Cap Casualty!!!

Take your ball and go home you big baby!

Exactly - Having opposing teams WR's drop catchable balls does not count as game saving plays.

The only reason these guys care about Pro Bowl selections is because it gives them more leverage when it comes to signing contracts.

Well, that and bonuses that kick in if they're selected to the Pro Bowl. Or did they do away with that with the new CBA?

"This pro bowl sh-t is a joke ..."

We've become accustomed to NY players running their mouths but this is just classless.

Then show your displeasure and boycott it; or just ****

Pro Bowl voting is a popularity contest. Not necessarily on performance. Example, as a Carolina fan Newton does NOT deserve being on the team. The Carolina success has been dependent on their beastly defense. Besides the new playing format is horrible.
