Wow, what a revelation. They're really digging deep on this one, always dead around this time of year, just limited items to report on. Personally, I'd rather see a LLOD take up this space than read garbarish.

maybe they can sign Pujols also

I have a hard time believing that there's an actual competition for Mulder's services.

Dude hasn't pitched effectively since 2005. Ah, the joys of being left handed.

Raul Ibanez, Pujols, Hamilton, add in the host of other over aged pitchers/draft busts we got last year. take away Bourjois and Trumbo and Angels go from young up-and-coming team to aging franchise with star kid and poor contracts.
...but maybe this one will work.

The worst trade the Cardinals made in the last ten years getting Mulder from the A's.

not sure what kind of contract they were offering Mulder Mulder would probably take the minimum just to get a chance to try comeback. Signing Zito would have made more sense. Angels would have been better served inviting Mulder as a non roster invitee to training camp and go from there. Doubtful there would be very few, if any other team would sign him. Zito would cost more money but would be able to contribute more as a starter. there are probably other left handed starters or relievers on the market. One I know of is Zach Duke.
