08:24 AM ET 12.28 | Luol Deng is a wanted man. No, certainly not by law enforcement and not even so much on the NBA's trade market, as many teams are hesitant to take him on as a half-season rental, especially if the Bulls' price is a productive young player and a first-round draft pick, as people in the know around the league continue to say. His upcoming status has resulted in the likes of the Cavaliers, Mavericks, Lakers, Raptors, Spurs, Grizzlies and Nets, among others, already expressing interest in Deng, according to league sources.

The Price Is Not Right, Bros.

He could help a lot of teams right now. He may be the best player available this summer. Do you pay the Bulls price to get him now or take your chances on the open market this summer?

they want alot and he should bring back a lot
teams like phoenix and cleveland who have picks and kids should consider him

they need an upgrade in their front court

I think he could really help Houston too, if they can somehow pull it off

I don't think he's needed over there as they have parsons,
who is a far better shooter (though not as good all-around)
plus CP is cheap now.
houston needs a big stretch 4 that is athletic.

If they were smart, they would at least try to sign him now. But they cut off talk of contract extension with him before the season; and have stated they will not talk about a new contract until after the end of the season.

Big Mistake.......if they hold to that tactic!

Agreed.....they don't need him at the 3....but he could be inserted at the 4.

He's been there, and done that.

Parsons and a pick for Deng could work.....but I don't see why Houston would want to do that.

Parsons is a better fit at the 3 for Houston......

I definitely thin the Cavs would consider him- but I am sure if they cannot get a commitment from him for more than just this year- that it will significantly effect their offer

They have an opening at center now they'll need to fill with Bynumn suspended indefinitely. Told ya it was only a matter of time with that pos

wow-
what a scrumbag

Adrian Wojnarowski: About Bynum suspension, league source tells Yahoo: "He doesn't want to play basketball anymore. He never liked it that much in first place."
Bob Finnan: Cavs could cut ties with Andrew Bynum by Jan. 7 and save $6M this year. He's guaranteed $6M regardles

December 28, 2013  12:22 PM ET

what frackin nerve this joke has-

From what I hear, Bynum wants to end up with Heat or Clips. But he'd have to be released + Cavs want to trade him (see @Brian Windhorst) -

We can take him then he can walk...

We're good at that!

This guy is overrated.

December 28, 2013  12:49 PM ET

We'll take him for anybody not name Dirk. We'd be happy if you take Carter...

December 28, 2013  12:50 PM ET

What a disaster Bynum's become. He should be banned from the NBA for a few sesaons...

Would making him play with the Mamba again be considered cruel and unusual punishment?

The Bulls are asking a lot for a player that is going to be an unrestricted FA. No team should offer up a first unless it is in the low 20s.
