06:20 AM ET 12.29 | While the speculation in Minnesota points to a coaching change, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that no decision has been made regarding the future of third-year head coach Leslie Frazier. It's unclear when a decision will be made regarding Frazier's potential return for 2014, but it's surely safe to assume that something will happen not long after the regular season ends. If a search will be commencing for a new coach, the search will need to begin quickly, since the Vikings could be interested in candidates who'll be drawing interest elsewhere.

So, Pro Football Talk gives us a story about a non-decision, complete with an unknown timetable, and concludes with a "what if" scenario?

Awesome.

Seems like some of the stuff some of the pundants n here could dish up.

Frazier has stood on the side lines the past three seasons like a black Bud Grant with no emotions. We will never know who was calling the shots this year with the merry go round QB ride, which was one of the factors contributing to a losing season along with losing four games in the last minute of the game. Ownership has to make up its mind tomorrow do they want a YES BOY or a stand up take charge head coach.

They should mix in a new GM as well.

I read elsewhere that the owner and his group are concerned that the next two years, while they play at the Gophers' stadium with temporary amenities, could cause them to lose viable candidates. At a minimum, they'll dump the coordinators, according to the article I read.

Kind of sad when you have to read the comments to get the story that the 'reporter' quoted above should have provided.

Can't be the impeccable Wilf who's proven he knows zilch about football.

So, to summarize, something could happen, might not, if it does, any number of things could happen, might not, if it does we don't know when.

Questions?

Agree with everything you said, except I don't know why you needed to describe his being black.

For Pro Football Talk, that's hard-hitting journalism right there.

He must have felt that a Color commentary was needed.

I believe the term is "yes man". Using boy sounds like you may have a problem.

What is the difference sir in people referring to your President as being the first black man to serve in that position of the United States?

The word yes boy is a slang word used by some people to describe everyday life sir - example - job place someone tells you what to do, paying taxes, marriage, or in some cases people are put in high profile positions and someone else in the background is calling the shots.

If I was a racist sir I would not watch or comment on NFL games, teams, or individuals playing the sport. The war has been over sir and I have the right to display Colonel Rebel as you do with Sweaty Palms without your black and white remarks.
