07:37 AM ET 12.29 | Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was arrested on Saturday morning in Florida on a charge of reckless driving, according to a report from the Naples Daily News. Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Greg Bueno told the Daily News that Puig was arrested at around 9:30 a.m. ET when officers clocked him driving his 2013 Mercedes at 110 mph while going westbound on Alligator Alley, a section of Interstate 75 with a 70-mph speed limit. The Dodgers had no comment on the incident.

I've driven down there and he was just keeping up with the flow of traffic. They all drive (almost) that fast.

Well, lets see now. Last time in Tennessee they let him go and just do some "community" work in LA. Guess that was not such a good idea. How hard is it? Pull his license for a year. Jeesh! Yes, guys that drive 110 mph are a threat to society. Nothing to even talk about.

I live down here and most people except idiots like Puig don't drive anywhere near 100mph. Especially on Alligator Alley which is a widely known speed trap amongst South Floridians who drive on it.

No one drives anywhere near the speed limit on Alligator Alley.
