08:01 AM ET 12.29 | David West had heard this type heckling, a last resort from fans of opposing teams who understand their team has lost. Last week in Brooklyn -- after the Pacers resoundingly beat the Nets, 103-86 -- West responded to those hecklers with a reference to Billy King and the construction of a $190 million struggling team: "Blame the GM," West wrote on Twitter. "There were a couple guys that were kind of ripping us throughout the game. They sit pretty close," West explained before the Pacers hosted the Nets on Saturday. "They were hollering at us. We hear that everywhere we go. That's like the last option, when we're about to win the game -- like, 'Y'all alright, but y'all ain't gonna beat the Heat.' It kind of gets on my nerves after a while. I was just kind of playing around with (the tweet) A lot of it was about us. There were a couple fans on the way out of the arena saying things about us, about where we were, about how we weren't going to beat the Heat and all that type of stuff. Everybody has a problem with the way our team looks, the way we play. We were put together too, you know what I'm saying."

If they do, they would not be able to field even two teams.

Let Your Game Do The 'Talking', Bro.

A dookie making dumb basketball moves, who would've thought it could happen. Billy King is in over his head. Signing Pierce and Garnett on the downward side of their career and hiring J Kidd as head coach without any bench experience. The Russian should gut the team by replacing King and Kidd and rebuilding around Brook and Deron.

They don't. They write it on a piece of paper that they carry with them at all times.

Or tape in on the back of their iPhone.

Brook and Dwill can't really be a solid core to build around. They should try to move Dwill while he still has some worth.

What's wrong with him tweeting? Chill out people, it's not even news worthy. And what he said IS the truth anyway, look at the Nets, they do need to blame their GM.
David West is NOT stupid at all.

its not the tweet, rather the backtracking to try and explain something

you have to admit- there are a lot of guys saying dumb, non-necessary things then thinking about it, then editing themselves.....

Aside from it being a stupid use of technology? Nothing. However I don't wish to need to know when some is 'taking a dump' real-time.....

West was right on the money! He just tweeted what everybody else is thinking. Everybody in this FN agrees w/ him but calls him stupid for saying it out. What has King done to make a team better? He effed up the Sixers and now he is effing up the Nets. His plans and visions are not the way to go.
