03:56 PM ET 01.01 | Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator and former Indianapolis Colts head coach Jim Caldwell is going to be getting in on the action during the offseason, as a number of teams look to fill their head coaching vacancies. We have already heard that Caldwell will be interviewing for the Detroit Lions head coaching job, but now he will also be getting a look from the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are also expected to interview Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.

His Indy team was good until Peyton went down. He'd be better off in Detroit than DC, but then again any coach would be.

This^^

I thought he was terrible in Indy after Peyton's injury, but he did call plays for Baltimore last year after Cameron got the boot. Not sure if the guy is ready to be a head coach for a team that has a younger quarterback.

I don't know that Jim Caldwell had a death wish.

He'll bring in Mike Vick as a backup.

Then Caldwell would go to the dogs.

Yes, I agree. The Rooney rule is responsible for Caldwell and Lovie getting interviews.

He hasn't interviewed with Cleveland (yet).

For Caldwell at least. Skins have someone in mind and have to get the minority interview over.

QUOTE(#8):

You can discount that year without Peyton. He didn't have a QB and he skilfully positioned that team to draft Luck. His success with good players - Indy to the SB, and calling Ravens SB winning offense last year - is undeniable.

Ok, I can see the playcalling with the Ravens and going to the SuperBowl with a Manning-led Colts team, but I have to disagree with the statement that he skillfully positioned the team to draft Luck. That's a euphemism for saying he lost a lot of games.
