12:19 PM ET 01.02 | There has been some discussion about whether or not the Tennessee Titans would be bringing back running back Chris Johnson next season or whether they would part ways as they look to rebuild the roster. While we will have to wait awhile before knowing if the team will cut Johnson loose, the former 2,000 yard rusher admits that he may have played his last down as a member of the team.

After signing that huge contract just how many games did he play up to that level?

Tough call but this guy looks more like some 30 year old guy then some 27 year old one.
I've mentioned this a few times across the web but rusher who have gone over 2K yards in a season never return to that form (or at least they haven't). Chris maybe shouldn't have been ridden as hard as was that season, hard to say if those legs would've slowed down as fast if he wasn't.
Either way this guy is no better then a 2nd stringer for the most desperate of NFL teams now.

The very sudden downturn in his performance after getting his huge payday came only as a surprise to those who paid him.

Money talks so Chris will walk.

Chris Johnson admits he may have played last down with Titans.

Can we also get him to admit that he's overrated?

Hopefully he's played his last down in the NFL. Sic Ray Lewis on him.

This same post appeared a month ago. I think they keep him on the roster because his contract would account for $10M against their salary cap.
