10:36 AM ET 01.05 | Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson refuted a Twitter post from CBS Sports columnist Bruce Feldman that indicated Johnson was not happy at Tech and was hoping his contract would be bought out. Johnson's statement: "The rumors on social media are not true. I plan on being the head coach at Georgia Tech into the future. I look forward to finishing up recruiting and getting ready for the 2014 season."

No kidding. If he wants to work he better stay happy cuz no one else will hire him to run that offense.

How do you think the Gators offense will look in 2014 with the new coordinator?

Paul seems such a happy man to play for. So much fun.

He's soft and cowardly.

Hard to say yet, depends on how much Roper gets to run his own show vs doing what Mus tells him to, and what Roper thinks of the talent on the roster. He is billed as a guy who tailors his scheme to his players' abilities but with all the struggles the Gator O has had, hard to say what he can make of the resources he will have at his disposal.

The report from Feldman seems to come on the heels of Vad Lee's announcement that he will transfer. I sense that Vad became disenchanted when he started having to share playing time with Justin Thomas (who showed more talent in making option reads and much more speed). Vad was supposed to be the star that would open up the offense to more passing, but his passing was nowhere near as accurate as was hoped and his option decisions were terrible.

The scary part is that Georgia Tech has enough problems with recruiting without rumors being floated regarding coaching instability. This is coming during a crucial time during the recruiting cycle and no doubt the Tech coaches are itching to put down this rumor, but I think this is a "dark" time in contacting high schoolers.

Why did Feldman's rumor surface now? Was he fed this from another source that is in a recruiting battle with Tech? Or is there really something to it?
