03:23 PM ET 01.07 | Many believe that Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel has already played his final down in College Station. However, he has yet to officially announce whether or not he will be forgoing his final years of eligibility to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft. While the belief that Manziel will bolt for the NFL remains, Manziel continues to sidestep the questions about his future. Manziel said that he still hasn't decided on what his decision will be, but he will continue to discuss the matter with his family as he tries to ensure that he makes the best possible decision.

Stay in school ... but stay out of Austin bars.

Perhaps he should just keep having DADDY make all his decisions the rest of his life.... Dweeb.....

Take your time. Don't let the media (professional and social) tell you what's best for your life.

It's the smart move.....or at least appears to be. He should take his time and make the right decision for himself. I think he should turn pro. A&M will not have a shot at a National Title next season (Bama, LSU, Auburn, SC, GA will all be ahead of them in the SEC alone). He's already won the Heisman. Instead of risking injury, turn pro. If he's drafted by Cleveland, Oakland or Jax he's liable to be the starter from Day 1.

I don't think he will be that successful in the NFL...I think the D's in the NFL have caught on with the mobile QB (see Kaeprenick this year) and some of the passes he throws up for grabs will be INT's

He will be a first round pick. he's not staying at TAM

I don't think he will either but he may have a better chance than both of us think.

Sumlin's offense never has been built around a running QB that much...at UH or Aggie. From what I watched, Manziel doesn't prefer to run and doesn't run/scramble until he has to or can't find anyone open. But, most of the time it would be wise to learn to throw it away instead of taking off and scrambling at the next level.

Damn, I agree with bluesuiter.

He may be a first round pick, but I see little chance that he'll provide the needed return on investment to whichever franchise makes the error of picking him high.
