07:35 AM ET 01.08 | Oft-injured center Andrew Bynum may wind up as the NBA property of yet another new team soon enough. Bynum missed all of last year (in Philadelphia) with multiple injuries to both knees, and his inability to stay healthy has been a hallmark of his tumultuous tenure in the NBA. He had played 24 games this season. But even with that recent history Bynum still is expected to draw interest around the league -- that's one of the benefits of being a 7-foot former All-Star. Bynum, league sources confirm, wants to play for a contender, and his preference is the Heat. He would also be open to a return to Los Angeles, though with the Clippers, not the Lakers. The Clippers waived swingman Stephen Jackson [Tuesday], so they have an open roster spot.
