10:47 AM ET 01.12 | The key date for Steven Stamkos may be February 8: The Lightning play Mike Babcock's Detroit Red Wings that night. If Stamkos is back in form by then, he plays in the Olympics. It's not a question of whether he can play, but how ready and able he will be to compete at highest level.

I'll download it then watch. I want to tell Stam to wait out and heal, the Lightning is right on the sliding Bruins heels, gonna need you at the end.

A nasty slice to the ribs. Yzerman should pick who he wants, I like Seabrooks style, even if he did win the overtime game:(

True but, shouldn't Steve Stamkos' highest priority be to get healthy so he can compete at the highest level for the people who pay his wages?

Everyone at Hockey Canarduckia needs to be fired - top dpwn - lousy uniforms, poor system, lousy choices, bad politics - and everyone on that panel/committe needs to be replaced, and never chosen again - leaving Seabrook out, is like England leaving Bobby Charlton off their 1966 World Cup Team - it's just plain stupid, and so is leaving St Luios off - I'll give them a short pass on injured Couture and EStaal and still working off a stupid injury, Giroux - but what the heck - fire them already.

Joys of picking a team with so many tough choices. Always going to be controversy.

How about Team Canada 2?

St. Louis Giroux Neal
Kane Thornton Hall
E. Staal Seguin Couture
Lucic Richards Ladd

Extra Forwards - Lupul Skinner

Seabrook Boyle Methot Girodano Bieksa Letang M. Staal

Crawford Harding Brodeur

I agree. I was blown away by that and that after seeing that some guys playing with chemistry like Keith and Seabrook would be nice IMO...

I still feel bad for St.Louis. Sad.
