02:50 PM ET 01.12 | Veteran right winger Jaromir Jagr is currently seventh place in the NHL's all-time points list, after passing his former Pittsburgh Penguins teammate Mario Lemieux late last week. Jagr, who is currently playing for the New Jersey Devils, is within striking distance of cracking the top five, but he's got a long way to go if he ever wants to be No. 1 on the list. Wayne Gretzky remains the NHL's all-time points leader and has a 1,133 point advantage over Jagr. However, don't let that make you think that Jagr won't go down without a shot. At 41 years old, it is clear that Jagr is nearing the end of his playing career, but he joked that he would be wiling to play until he was 70 in order to surpass Gretzky's mark.

Scoring goals in the KHL doesn't count though.

You can call Jagr many things but 'selfish' isn't one of them. It was a joke, FCOL.

I've heard of 'flying the friendly skies' but, how do you fit a wheelchair with skies? Just curious. ;-)

My point, rather inelegantly stated, is that he is milking it for all it's worth.
