Cavs tired of Waiters' act

07:30 AM ET 01.14 | Sunday's 124-80 loss made for a long night in Sacramento for the Cavs, and the result may still sting. Mike Brown didn't use the word "quit" to describe his team, but he used a lot of words that rhyme with quit, such as no competitive spirit in the second half. Kyrie Irving has proven to be a pouter at times. So has Dion Waiters. ... Players have quietly grumbled about Waiters' act off and on all season, and those grumbles were growing louder Sunday night. As one player put it, stars can get away with the stuff Waiters pulls on occasion, but Waiters hasn't even established himself yet in this league, let alone carved out star status. The thing about him is he's not a bad guy. He's not a locker room cancer or a coach killer. He just sulks, pouts, broods.

You cant believe the media reporting this....Hell im sure Waiters is tired of the Cavs act of supposedly being a professional NBA team....

I don't know what they are waiting for with this guy.....
He needs to be moved

I mean look at NY with their version of waiters....Jr smith
Granted the specific issues are different.....but its the same thing.
You can't have guys on the team that don't get it.....it brings everyone down

I think the whole organization don't get it. You can't just blame on 1 guy. Kyrie has so much to do w/ it also. He's just getting the special treatment because he is supposedly the superstar.

Tonight the Cavs coming off a 40 point loss face the Lakers who are also coming off of a 40 point loss. Losing team should immediately be sent to the d-league.

Most of the players for both teams are D-league caliber already so would it really change anything?

There were a numbre of non flattering stories the last 2 years on Kyrie..pouting, not showing good leadership...bad body language when his teamates made a bad play...not great leadership qualities imo

Irving, Deng, Waiters, Gone.....As soon as they can....

Why would those guys or Lebron ever come back to this circus...

Dions not the problem here. In a franchise that is constantly looking for a solution they forget that these kids coming from college aren't starters-or at least wouldn't be 20 years ago. They would normally ride the bench watching better players and honing their game in practice.
This is why, they pout and when you're the guy that points fingers and things really take a downturn in a season the fingers point back. I've seen some comparisons to J.R Smith on here by some numbskull(s) but I don't see it-yet. If things are left to fester and Brown again can't get ahold of the egos on his roster then things will implode fast.
Maybe Deng can add some leadership to the Cavs that they've been missing since before Lebron.

But they'll take his 17 points and 4 assists in the win on the road against my Lakers, right?
