07:40 AM ET 01.14 | Only a few weeks removed from the national title game, recruiting battles are left to fill the void of college football competition. Miami-Booker T. Washington quarterback Treon Harris, a four-star 2014 Florida State commit who led his team to a state championship, 14-0 record and the No. 1 spot in USA Today's national high school football rankings, is expected to visit Auburn on [the Jan. 24] weekend. ... Auburn already has a commitment from another four-star Sunshine State signal-caller, Sean White of Fort Lauderdale-University School. But offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee extended an offer last week to Harris, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound dual threat star who threw for 2,159 yards and 28 touchdowns with only four interceptions, while rushing for 575 yards and nine scores this season.

QUOTE(#10):

Well, them Texans don't understand color. Just look at what they call "orange." Dirt. Dirt is about the only color in Texas other than oil. Chic Dallasites wear LODs - little oil dresses. Small town prom girls wear LDDs - little dirt dresses. In Texas, "yellow" isn't so much a color as a song lyric. It's thought of as a bleached out shade of dirt. The yellow rose of Texas is a cactus "rose," but folks tend to visualize a young Tanya Tucker-type in a bleached out dirt dress rather than an actual flower. [Side bar: the cactus rose petal structure actually resembles that of the wild rose.] Yep. Even money isn't envisioned as "green." Green is slang for money, and money is either oil or dirt. Have you noticed that Texas cattle are shades of dirt? Even the sweet onions planted in Texas are a shade of bleached out dirt. The State's unofficial motto is, "Texas. Oil & dirt. If you don't like it, you don't belong here."

I dont even know how to respond to this
