11:41 AM ET 01.14 | The 2014 Winter Classic between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings at Michigan Stadium was an overwhelming success. While the first sign of success was the record crowd of 105,491, which was the largest crowd to ever witness a hockey game, it is the revenue that was generated from the game that really has everyone talking. When it was all said and done, the game generated $20 million in profit.
