Gasol on Cleveland: 'It would have been weird'

07:33 AM ET 01.15 | Forgive Pau Gasol if, this time of year, he's trying to stay away from the news. [Gasol] was at the musical The Lion King last week when he turned his phone on during intermission. It was full of texts and tweets about him being traded to the Cavaliers. Obviously, that didn't happen. Instead, the Cavs traded Andrew Bynum and three draft choices to Chicago for Luol Deng. Now, Gasol said, he's more worried about his sore left big toe than what might have happened. "It could have been that way, for sure," Gasol said after the Lakers' shootaround on Tuesday. ... "It would have been weird. It would have been a process -- just like it would if it happened with any other team. Then so quickly come back to the home that has been your home so long, and then it's not your home any more, it would have been weird."

I think he is. If you read the comments up there it said; Gasol said, he's more worried about his sore left big toe than what might have happened.

I think these guys are mostly just answering the same questions over and over. If it was up to him I doubt he would bring it up.

Nobody is going to give the Lakers assets of any kind for a guy who will up and walk in free agency. The Lakers are basically forced to let Pau ride his contract out till seasons end.

Cleveland might. Lakers were just too dumb to ask for the moon.
