Why LeBron's jealous of Durant

07:34 AM ET 01.15 | LeBron James seemingly has it all, right? [James] has MVPs, NBA championships and is considered the best active player in the game. So who could possibly make King James jealous? Kevin Durant. "I get jealous sometimes when I look over at KD and he's like 16-for-32 (from the field) and then 14-for-34. ... Man," James told ESPN.com's Tom Haberstroh. While the Miami Heat star is shooting a career-high 59.1 percent from the field this season, he is tied for just 18th in the league in field goal attempts (580) with an average of 16.1 per game. With that kind of efficiency, James could stand to take more shots but explained, "I'm not much of a forced-shot guy. But there are games where I have it going, and then at the end of the game, I'm like, damn, I shot just 12-for-16? Why don't I get up at least six or seven more?"

James is an egotistical arse clown like ARoid............He wants to be loved by everyone but is despised by many.........

No doubt he is a great talent.............But I loathe the guy.............

I would for one game see him make it ALL (i mean the guy does average almost 7 assist a game) about him...I would like to see how much and how easy he could score....

Just when you think the guy gets it. He doesn't. Why would he be jealous of Durant when he got what Durant wants? Kinda stupid because he was in Durant's situation when he was w/ the Cavs...smh

You Are The 'Yin' To His 'Yang', Bro.

He's a 28 yeard old man child (I don't know hs real age, but 28 seems close)

If James REALLY wants to be jealous of someone taking shots, that should be 'Melo or JR.

KD doesn't force anything either, he just plays the game, and in the OKC scheme of things, he just happens to get that many shots.

HHhahaha...agreed mickWhen I first glanced at the headline..I was like wtf...james is popular, has rings mvps, huge endorsements, but immediatly Arods jealousy of Jeter came to mind ( vanity fair article from back in late 90's ), with James playing the part of Aroid and Jeter the lovable star like durant

The difference is ARod doesn't have a ring and comparing the two is absurd. Lebron can afford to be a little selfish and chase scoring titles. He's got rings. The fact you guys are hating on a guy who's been pretty much a class act winning all their is to win in the league is a joke. The only knock on his career is the way he left Cleveland. He's probably the most unselfish person who's ever been the face of the league and people make up excuses to hate on him.

I took his comment as tongue in cheek and not serious. If he really wanted to shoot more he would. He has the ball in his hands.

Everything LBJ says gets dissected and twisted by people that don't like him. All he does is play hard and win. He's a good guy that married his high school sweetheart and is raising his children with her. Not sure why the guy is such a target for hate.

Totally agree with you on that.

Could it be due to the size of KD's 'hog'? Russ may have more insider info...

Good win by the Cavs but they should have blown out the Lakers.

He has been a class act and even the great things that he has been doing and saying has been praised. It's comments like this that he should stay away from. Why would he be jealous of Durant when he was like him in Cleveland? It doesn't make sense unless he is taking a shot at Durant.

It seems like more of a joke than anything he's jealous of a guy whose going 14-34 and 16-32 when he's putting up 59% he can score anytime he wants but he takes what defenses give him and gets his teammates involved because thats how he'll win his a smart player
