12:31 PM ET 01.15 | The Cleveland Browns head coaching search has been one of the most interesting stories to follow since firing first-year head coach Rob Chudzinski following the season, and there seems to be no immediate end in sight. Cleveland is reportedly waiting to interview Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase once the Broncos' postseason run comes to an end, but there is no guarantee that he will even have interest in taking the job. Because of that, the Browns are taking an obvious risk by keeping other candidates waiting, so their fan base has been looking for answers. In an effort to provide some insight on the coaching staff to the fans, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam sent a letter to all season-ticket holders explaining the team's process that is currently taking place as they search for their next head coach.

to be begged to take on that train wreck.

Maybe they'll wind up rehiring Chudzinski, since nobody else wants the job.

I don't understand the Browns fascination with Gase. No one would know who he was if it weren't for Peyton Manning.

The Browns are grasping for straws. They've already had two candidates drop out of the their HC search. They'll eventually find a new HC, but breaking off Chudzinski the way they did seems to be coming back to bite the front office in the arse.

It's the best the Browns can do to make fans think there are actually "other candidates" at this point.
