01:51 PM ET 01.16 | One of the biggest talkers on Thursday in the NHL is how the Anaheim Ducks laid the hammer down on the Vancouver Canucks and destroyed the team, 9-1. The game was over before it even started and even featured a string of overtly sarcastic tweets from the Canucks' official Twitter account. But the Ducks aren't gloating post-mortem, and have stopped short of apologizing to the Canucks for the beat down they put on them. The 9-goal night was a franchise record breaker for the Ducks, but even veteran Teemu Selanne seemed to cringe a little after the game. This raises the question of which is worse, getting blown-out so badly that your official Twitter feed starts mocking you, or having the team who ran you out of the building stop short of apologizing for doing so?
