01:58 PM ET 01.16 | It's Championship Weekend in the NFL but only four of the 32 teams in the league are celebrating. The rest of the pack, with the exclusion of this year's playoff field, are desperately trying to figure out how they can join the party next season. For some teams, this means hiring a new coaching staff, for the Tennessee Titans this means cutting their franchise running back. Rumors have been swirling as to what the Titans plan on doing with Chris Johnson and the latest report is that the team is expected to cut Johnson in the near future.

Could probably trade him to Detroit, Miami, Jets, Browns, Raiders, Chicago or the Titans (psych) for a 2nd-4th round pick. Few of those owners treat their picks like they're nothing. Only downside to this is you might have to absorb a year or two worth of his contract if you really want that 2nd rounder.
Chris' problem is that his game was downhill runing featuring the occasional cutback.
Chris has turned it into cutbacks featuring downhill running.
Even if he figures it out though I don't expect more then two years of over 1200 yards rushing, 7TD's

Get him an OC and he'll thrive. I refuse to believe he's lost a step already.

They should trade him...

I think he's still got the chops but he needs to get out of whatever funk he's been in since getting paid. Oh wait, there it is.

Mr. Johnson, I hope you got an education, because being kicked to the curb at that young an age means there is a lot of the rest of your life to do...

He needs a change of scenery and a lot less talking.

There could be some magic around these numbers, but it looks like Johnson is owed $8 mil for 2014 and 2015, and then $7 mil for 2016. That's probably more than any team would be willing to pay for him at this point in his career, and he's already said he won't renegotiate his contract, so a trade probably can't happen. Everyone knows the Titans won't pay him that money, so they'll wait until he's cut and pick him up off of the discount rack.

He needs to get over his ego trip and start playing football...........
