02:35 PM ET 01.16 | Leading up to UFC 168, rumors began to surface about the possibility of a return from former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. The rumors were denied initially, but they continued to surface over the past few weeks and have been increasingly hard to ignore. Last night, during Dana White's UFC Fight Night 35 post-fight media scrum, White was asked about the rumors. With his comments, White will surely have some Lesnar fans excited, because the UFC president said that the return of the former champ is "definitely a possibility."

Not gonna happen anytime soon. The rumor is he's facing the WWE World HW title champ at WM30. If he wins the title he won't have the time to do MMA.

Why would he come back and get a real punch and kick to his face. I wouldn't pay to see him turtle up as cain rains down bombs again.

There's no way it'd be for a title shot. Not the way he left the UFC in the first place, and not for what he was as a mixed martial artist. His strategy was flawed and his striking was severely lacking. Even as a promotional stunt they wouldn't risk giving the belt to a one-timer. I could see him versus the 'reem or JDS. Or even a Mark Coleman or some other HW "legend." Brock might demand more than that but he might also want to consider his health and take a realistic fight...and Dana would be wise to maintain the UFC's budding aura of credibility and NOT let him fight for a title fight despite the ratings/PPV/ticket bonanza it'd provide.

the way he left the ufc? he had two life-threatening bouts with diverticulitis and had mono. he still got in the octagon with cain and overseas against overreem where overreem could be roided up.

he made dana a lot of money when he wasnt at his physical peak. he took a bigger than normal risk fighting cain and reem in the physical condition he was in at the time. he left the ufc like a champion and dana knows that.

the card: cain vs werdum, rousey vs christiane, brock vs browne (or JDS) new years weekend 2014!

we can dream cant we?

you may not like the man but he is the anti-rousey. rousey will do anything to avoid christiane. brock on the other hand will fight anybody, anywhere, anytime. win or lose thats a championship mentality.

his strategy was flawed and his striking lacking? of course it was. he turned pro in the ufc with basically zero experience and the last 2 years he fought he had no way to practice or stay in shape because of the disease.

he entered the octagon with basically no strength and no stamina his last two fights against the TOP-TIER talent in the ufc. he could have easily backed out of his contract, but he didnt. he took his beatings and shook cains and reems hand afterwards.

and he wouldnt get an immediate title fight for one reason, and thats the fact that the heavyweight division is stacked and brown and werdum definitely deserve their chance at the belt first.

but a healthy brock against anyone in the top 10 would be an exciting fight, win or lose!

Is MMA real or is the WWE real, who knows since Brock has done both with success.
