10:07 AM ET 01.18 | New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith denied that he was kicked off a flight at the Los Angeles airport. Smith allegedly got into an argument and police were summoned and TMZ Sports posted a photo of him talking with police officers. However, Smith told TMZ that the allegations aren't true, saying: "Don't believe that, man." Several reports out of New York, including Newsday, stated that Smith wasn't arrested and no incident report was taken since there was no arrest. According to the New York Daily News, the incident was sparked by a flight attendant ripping off Smith's headphones. Smith was heading to Fort Lauderdale before leaving the flight on his own, according to the report.

The ESPN article is informative. He either got on a plane in LA to go to Florida and changed his mind right before take off or was asked to. What do you think?

The only thing ESPN has to do with news is the three letters the two words share.

It's a shame he was kicked off the plane at the airport. Had I been there, I would have thrown the **** out of the airplane at 30,000 feet.

According to the Daily News, Smith was kicked off a Virgin America flight out of Los Angeles International Airport on Friday because he refused to get off his cellphone after being asked three times by the flight crew.

"He (Smith) said he didn't know why he was kicked off the flight," a source told the Daily News. "He said it was because he was black. Virgin Airlines refused to re-book him because he was being disruptive."

Moral of the story, you can be black and you can be disruptive, but don't be black, disruptive and an mediocre talent in the NFL or you get your butt booted off the plane.

Sad that even a Stew knocked him off his game.

Her Virgin voyage.

2 versions of the story, wildly different. One paints him in the right, the other paints the airline in the right. Who saw that coming??
