12:42 PM ET 01.18 | When the Los Angeles Lakers welcomed back Kobe Bryant earlier this season, some people said that it might have been too soon. When he suffered another serious injury in less than 10 games, the discussion of Kobe Bryant rushing himself back came up yet again. While fans and even NBA legends like Magic Johnson are urging Kobe to take his time in coming back in 2014, the future Hall of Famer isn't letting anyone tell him what to do. According to ESPNLosAngeles, Kobe has no plans to sit out the rest of the season. The Lakers are currently sitting at 15-25 and are in 13th place; almost a full eight games out of the Western Conference's final playoff spot. Things don't appear to be getting any better for the Lakers and the playoffs are extremely unlikely. Fans are talking more about a lottery pick than they are the postseason, which further puzzles people as to why Kobe would want to rush back and play at the end of this lost season.

That's one way to torpedo the season. He needs to get with the program and let the Lakers tank.

Don't know how much that would help the Lakers, if it even does help them a litle

Hopefully the Mamba can get some shots up and add to his scoring total.

You go Kobe. Keep this team in the dumps and delay rebuilding! At least the Lakers share the arena with a winning team..
