08:38 AM ET 01.19 | Mario Cristobal, who angered a bunch of people at Miami when he bolted after less than two months on Al Golden's staff to take a job with Alabama, continues to spend time and energy trying to flip UM oral commitments. The latest: Chad Thomas, UM's highest-rated prospect. Thomas, rated the nation's No. 1 defensive end, said he's mulling whether to visit Alabama and also has been considering a visit to FSU. But he remains orally committed to Miami.

I guess there are not enough good players in the state of Alabama to populate 2 D1 teams. Sad.

For some reason, I just can't see "Wild" and "0-6" being matched together!

Eh, we got that Winston kid from Alabama. He looks like he could be pretty decent.

If you can keep him around long enough to benefit.

And flipping kids is not a crime, at least not outside the B1G....

Isn't 'flipping kids' child abuse these days? Must hurt when they hit the ground. heh heh

No honor among thieves and coaches.

I don't see the problem here.

Me too, isn't this SOP when a coach changes schools before Signing Day?

B1G didn't like it when Meyer started this after he was hired at TOSU

If he sticks around any longer, you belly-draggers will have to hire TWO defensive coordinators!

I think FSU has already reaped the benefits.

I don't understand why this is even a story.

ya, that does make him kind of a scumbag. no class. besides, doesn't bama already have about 25 commits? oh, wait, the sec, 25 heading to 40. nice.

Why do the coaches in the NCAA even have contracts? There's no substance behind them...In any event, glad Cristobal is gone from Miami and the state of Florida. Between a 2-game losing streak, hiring Cristobal and Kiffin, Saban is really building an empire in Tuscaloosa.
