08:40 AM ET 01.19 | Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is scheduled to visit Philadelphia-based specialist Dr. William Meyers next week to evaluate his troublesome groin and decide if surgery is needed, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports on Saturday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to discuss the situation publicly.

It's not the off season until AD has surgery. Seems to happen every year. Eventually it'll catch up with him, but I wouldn't bet on it just yet. Friggin freak of nature.
