09:36 AM ET 01.19 | An altercation broke out near the Calgary Flames' dressing room during the first intermission of their game against the Canucks in Vancouver on Saturday night. CBC, which televised the game, showed Canucks head coach John Tortorella attempting to go into the Flames locker room at Rogers Arena, with Calgary enforcer Brian McGrattan pushing him away. Flames goaltender coach Clint Malarchuk came out of the Flames dressing room after Tortorella and McGrattan were separated. Malarchuk followed Tortorella, but was restrained by several members of Calgary's staff and McGrattan.

I am no fan of Three-finger, but I find it fascinating that all the attention is on VCR and not the clown coach in Calgary.

HarryCrack, what say you?

He's stopped taking his meds.

You put your 1st or 2nd line against the 4th line knuckledraggers to start the game, watch them skate circles around them, and none of this happens.

And in other embarassing news for the NHL, the Wings are credited with a goal on a puck that had gone out of play.
Perhaps Sheriff Way Out of His League should release a video about that as well...

Torts is not one to back down from a challenge. Just ask the Devils.

Agreed. Calgary submits their starters 1st so Torts had a choice - - so why is he whining about the outcome?

You are assuming that the knuckledraggers will respect the Sedins et al and not try to fight them.

If I am Three fingers, I dont make that assumption.

Toy-day wa, doko desk-ah Toto jist wanted to upstage Hockey Day in Canada - he played the tough team card against the Flames already this season, so what did he expect - donuts in return.. Sad thing was, the Flambays outplayed, out-hit and out-chanced the Can'tucks, but can't find the range. Worst thing was who got the two points.

And in the tradition of Vernon and Osgood, Howard attempted to fight last night, only to learn he didn't know how. But he won a SO though, a rarity for him.
