07:55 AM ET 01.20 | University of Miami football fans may not have a spring sighting of young star Duke Johnson, after all. Johnson, UM's starting running back, said Sunday he does not believe his fractured ankle will be healthy enough to participate during the Hurricanes' spring practice but should be cleared to start working out and doing on-field work in "two months, a month in a half -- around that range." Although UM announced its spring game will be April 12, the school has yet to release dates regarding its spring practice schedule. "I'm really excited in the progress I've made, and everyone else [at UM] is excited, too," said Johnson, who was in attendance at Hollywood McArthur High for tryouts for the South Florida Express 7-on-7 football team and walking around under his own power. "I'm just ready to get back."

I know, wrong boards, but they might as well go ahead and hand Denver their Super Bowl Rings, etc., it won't even be close.

You are correct. Wrong boards. The NFL sucks. Boring as hell.

Golden Al better hope The Duke heals fast. Without him in the backfield, Da U is in trouble, and Golden Al's seat gets warmer by the day.

Heal thyself, young man, avoid doing stupid things despite your gender's weakness for such (I am witness), and return to play again.

That kid is a special talent. I like the idea of him sitting in '14, and getting completely healed. Don't want to see him end up like Lattimore from SCar. Maybe, by the time DJ returns, the Canes will have an HC who's more up to the task.

Golden Al just ain't RIGHT for Da U!!!
